Teen working with sculpture

Location and Facilities
Classes are taught in my home studio in the Niles district of Fremont, about two blocks from Niles Elementary School and historic downtown Niles.

In addition to the normal supplies and equipment needed for art projects, students have access to the Internet, a color printer and color copier, and a reference library of more than 1,000 art books, reproductions and original artworks.

Class Schedules and Cost
During the school year, weekly classes are offered mornings and afternoons, Monday through Thursday and Saturday, in 7-9 week sessions. Students can start at any point during the school year and even in the middle of a session.

Cost per weekly class is $20 for ages 6-9 (1 hour) and $30 for ages 10+ (1.5 hours), with the total for each session due upon registration. There is also a one-time $35 supply fee per session. See Registration Form downloads on our Contact/Forms Page.

Summer Camp
During the summer, we offer an art camp, “The Fine Art of Crafts” which is held in one-week, half-day sessions, Monday through Friday. For more information review the “Summer Camp” PDF download on our Contact/Forms Page.

Class Size
Weekday classes are limited to six students of similar age, ability and artistic interests. Saturday and summer classes may be larger, in which case we add a teaching assistant to keep the student-to-teacher ratio low. Students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
